According to the Australian Diabetes, Obesity and Lifestyle Study watching TV can kill you!
The study group of 8,800 have been watched for the last 6 years and found that each hour that the study subjects spent watching TV was associated with an 18 % increase in death from heart disease-and an 11% increase in overall mortality. Those who watched TV for 4 or more hours per day were 80 % more likely to die of heart disease and 46% more likely to die overall than those who watched 2 hours or less daily.
The call is simple and powerful-move and be moved…you are here to show up and live courageously-look for someone to move and share your passion for health and wellness with them. One of our greatest joys can be experienced every day by simply stepping outside of your normal routine and look for someone to turn onto fitness. Share with them how eating well and exercising has changed or improved your life-share any strategies that have been helpful for you.
