Gooseberries?

We have this pretty bush on the side of the house and I am thinking it is a gooseberry bush. Can anyone identify it from this picture?

Here’s what I learned about gooseberries:

Gooseberries are a good source of vitamin C,  vitamin A, calcium, iron, and phosphorus.  Many gooseberries are too bitter to be eaten raw, although some of the darker berries may be sweet enough to add to fruit salads. The green variety is one of the more common varieties. They are full of seeds. Gooseberries may be poached and eaten cooked or added to sugar or syrup for a sauce. They are often made into jam.
