Five Moments for Essentail Oils in the New Year – from Aura Cacia®
Aura Cacia Suggests 5 Moments a Day
Essential Oils Can Relax, Focus and Elevate a Person’s Day
This holiday season, millions of Americans will be opening up new desktop calendars, day planners, iPad iCals and pocket schedulers they’ll receive as gifts or purchase for themselves. As you fill those calendars with work appointments, doctor visits and household chores, ask yourself, “am I scheduling time for myself?”
Aura Cacia® (www.AuraCacia.com) – a national source for natural and organic essential oils – is suggesting five key times each day for people to relax their body, revive their energy and improve their overall mood through essential oils and other personal care products.
“Your 2012 calendar is fresh, clean and ready for you to plan. You’ll no doubt fill that calendar with commitments to other people. Why not schedule moments for yourself to energize, relieve stress and improve mood?” said Charlynn Avery, Aromatherapist and Educator for Aura Cacia®. “Take a walk. Meditate. Have a healthy snack. We particularly recommend essential oils. But, often when we’re speaking to aspiring or experienced essential oil enthusiasts they ask, ‘what’s the best time to use essential oils and which oils should I use?’”
“We suggest twice in the morning, twice in the afternoon, and once in the evening – for specific moments individuals may find the greatest lift,” Avery added, suggesting:
6 a.m. Energize with Peppermint
“Try reducing the three cups of coffee to one,” said Avery. “Essential oils can charge your mind body and spirit with a revitalizing and invigorating experience.”
Example: Peppermint Essential Oil
Application tip: Apply one to two drops on the bottom of your socks before heading out the door to achieve that extra pep in your step.
Other energizing recommendations: Peppermint Harvest Body Oil, Peppermint Aromatherapy Stick, Pep Talk
11 a.m. Find balance with Rose
“As your to-do list grows, essential oils can help you cope gracefully while approaching your tasks with stability and harmony,” said Avery.
Example: Rose Absolute Essential Oil
Application tip: Diffused rose absolute at your desk can produce a stabilizing atmosphere during times of stress, grief and anxiety.
