Lemon Basil Flaxseed Oil Dressing

Makes 1 cup

2 cloves garlic, finely minced

1/3 bunch fresh basil (or 2 heaping teaspoons dried)

1/2 cup lemon juice

1/4 cup flaxseed oil

1/4 cup olive oil

1 squirt (wheat free) tamari or Bragg’s Liquid Aminos

1 tsp. pure maple syrup

1/4 cup water

Wash and dry basil leaves.  Chop garlic cloves and basil then add to blender with the liquids and blend to a creamy consistency.  You may add 1 to 2 tablespoon of this to a serving of steamed rice, salad, or vegetable of your choice as a dressing.
