We experimented with this recipe originally posted on thehealthyfoodie.com blog. We altered just a few things. For example we did not include arrowroot flour or ancho chile. We also used almond butter and cashew butter in lieu of hazelnut butter in the icing and we left out the honey altogether. The brownies are pretty sticky coming out of the pan. The texture is more cake-like.
Delicious, moist, summery raspberry muffins. Perfect as a side to summer salad or as part of an awesome breakfast. Grain free to boost!
Sometimes it’s just fun to take some of the fruits of summer and bake up a quick breakfast (or anytime) treat. We found some delicious organic pluots and though it seemed almost wrong not to just eat them raw, I only used 2 to whip up these not-to-sweet gluten free scones.
For a greater lemon flavor, add 2 tablespoons lemon juice and decrease yogurt to 3/4 cup.
These are delicious served with plain or vanilla Greek-style yogurt or fresh whipped cream.
A delicious apple pie alternative, boasting 10 grams of protein and 6 grams fiber per slice!
These cookies are inspired by the delicious Scout cookies that we first had at Watercourse Foods in Denver. It’s dangerous to have them around because it’s nearly impossible not to go back for more.
